Make sure thawed completely... 

Salt inside and outside of bird then season as you like... we season with onion powder, garlic powder, poultry seasoning, black pepper.

Make sure that it is covered tightly after spraying the foil with oil so foil doesn't stick

Place bird in oven after pre-heating oven. 

First hour and a half at 400F degrees after that remove the foil and baste the bird... add a cup of water if not enough drippings...

Re-cover the bird and set at 375 degrees until done, with basting every hour...

Figure on 20 minutes per pound cooking time but every oven is different....

Internal temperature in breast part of bird should be 175-180F degrees.

Let stand and cool for fifteen minutes before carving.
